Enjoy the natural beauty of Wales in a quiet, friendly, women-only, home-stay atmosphere in the small Welsh village of Parc-y-rhos, close to the wild and lonely Cambrian Mountains and the small University town of Lampeter, and only 16 miles from the coast.

Accommodation

	Guestroom This light and friendly room makes you relax straight away! And the picture on top of this page is the view from the window (rainbow not guaranteed) Futonbeds. Double, single or twin bedded room. Bedlinen and towels provided.
Lounge Books, CDs and cassettes. Open fire. No TV.
Bathroom with shower, bath, washing machine. Please bring only bio-degradable soap , etc.!	Kitchen Tea and coffee anytime. Use of fridge and own storage cupboard. Cold meals can be prepared, but no cooking facilities.
Jewellery studio This is where the jewellery-making courses are being held. Visitors can watch jewellery being produced and can browse in the studio.
	Garden 300 m2, pond, sunny corners, hammock, with a view of the River Teifi and the Welsh hills.
The House built around 1870, a traditional Welsh cottage with thick stone walls and slate roof, thoroughly renovated over the last few years. It is situated in a small hamlet of about 20 houses. Nearest shops and restaurants in Lampeter, approx. 2 miles away.
	Breakfast Continental style, as far as possible organic: home baked bread, cheese, jam, muesli, fruit etc. Special dietary needs can be catered for if advised in advance.

Activities Relax and be lazy in the garden or in front of the open fire! Jewellery-making courses . If English is not your first language, take some English lessons. Walking can start directly from the house, for example to this ancient standing stone, Carreg Hirfaen.

Can I book B&B on it's own, or do I need to book a jewellery-making course as well?
You can book B&B on it's own. You can also book any combination of course and B&B that you like.

What´s the weather like?
Mild winters ( ca. 40° F) and cool sommers (ca. 60° F). Daily weather is often changeable.

A warm jumper and rain gear also in summer. But don´t forget your swimming costume, either!
